The Hugs are an indie-pop and psychedelic garage band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2007 by lead singer-songwriter Danny Delegato. Having released eight albums and critical acclaim from outlets like NME, Interview Magazine, and The NY Post, their music has been featured on HBO’s GIRLS, ABC’s 9-1-1 & The Lying Game, and various MTV shows including Slednecks, Teen Mom and Awkward. The band has toured extensively in the PNW & United Kingdom and is currently working on their 9th studio-album. Their latest release, New Adventure (Feb 2, 2024), embraces a new chapter in their sound, blending dreamy, expansive pop with nostalgic vibes and a bold forward-thinking approach. The band continues to evolve, pushing creative boundaries as they explore new sonic territories and themes of growth and self-discovery.
