The Illusion Fades are a Greek Goth/Rock/Alternative band known both in Greece and internationally. Formed in 1989 , they began performing live in 1990. Their discography started in 1993 and includes five studio albums, EPs, a compilation, and singles, along with contributions to international compilations and soundtracks. With live performances in Greece and abroad (including the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Germany) alongside some of the biggest names in the scene—such as The Gun Club, The Damned, The 69 Eyes, London After Midnight, Elisive, and more—The Illusion Fades are the longest-running active band of their genre in Greece.
