Next show: San Francisco, Sun 1 Nov
An underground, homegrown punk act.
Born out of San Francisco’s tenderloin district, discount beer, and Tuesday nightdive bar shows the Poor Luckies have been grinding out unfiltered punk since 2008. Watering the seeds of the Bay Area punk scene with their stories of protest and erratic driving, the Poor Luckies are fronted by Danny Cuts (vocals, guitar), alongside Earl Kramer (vocals, lead guitar), Will Waldron (vocals, bass), and Joshua Abeyta (drums). Their debut EP#1 dropped in 2012, followed by years relentless shows and west coast tours sharpening their sound. The Poor Luckies are gearing up to release their new full length album Wrong Way. This record bottles the dark melodic punk that has become a staple of San Francisco’s punk underground.
The poor luckies play unfiltered street punk and manic rock 'n' roll with direct stylistic roots in '80s UK punk bands like Charged GBH and The Partisans.
The band originated out of San Francisco's Tenderloin district, deeply rooted in the local Bay Area punk underground.
The current line-up features Danny Cuts, Earl Kramer, Will Waldron, and Joshua Abeyta.
