Henry Marr's sonorous vocals that tell of life, love and pain... El Rey Uli's Gretsch guitar that sings, growls and clatters... plus a wild portion of Rock’n’Roll on bass and drums… Welcome to The Porthounds! In their songs they explore the boundaries between roots rock, country and 60s rock'n'roll. Hamburg to Memphis, Detroit to Liverpool and back - this is what the Porthounds call their Northern Shuffle! Well hung, rough and unpolished, but served with virtuosity. Since 2022, The Porthounds have been playing tirelessly, delighting audiences with their authentic sound and energetic performance. At sold-out concerts in Germany, among others, together with the Go-Getters, Holly Golightly, Smokestack Lightnin' and Jake La Botz, and on tour in England, Scotland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, they gained an ever-growing fan base.
