The Rainclouds
An underground power pop act.
Tracks2
The Rainclouds are a self-described "slacker power-pop" band from NYC. Born from a Craigslist ad seeking fans of The Nerves and Guided by Voices, their debut single, "On an Island," dropped in January 2025, showcasing their knack for catchy, subdued rock n' roll. Their follow up single, “Let’s Go”, displays the band’s slacker sensibilities and versatility. The Rainclouds are a new group, but have been consistently gigging around New York and Brooklyn since last year. The group plans to release several singles this year culminating in an EP, with a full length LP set for release shortly after.
