The Riverside Soul was formed in 2024 with the goal of bringing the authentic 1940s bluegrass sound back to the Budapest club scene. They won the Band Of The Year Award in the Texas Sounds Country Music Awards Festival, in october. In their original songs, they blend traditional musical values with their own creative vision. Alongside the old classics (Bill Monroe, Doc Watson), their setlists also feature songs by well-known modern bluegrass artists (Billy Strings, The Dead South) as well as country legends (Johnny Cash, Hank Williams). Their first four-track EP was released this September, and they had a U.S. tour from October 1–15, between Marshall, TX and Las Vegas, NV.
