An underground indie pop artist.
Tracks5
The State Smile is the project of Los Angeles-based songwriter Wes O'lee, blending Indie Pop and Power Pop into anthemic, guitar-driven tracks built for sunshine and motion. Bright brass accents and driving hooks give the sound a widescreen, feel-good energy — the kind of music that lives somewhere between Bleachers and Walk The Moon. The latest single, "Your Style," is a high-energy standout with the refrain "Cut the static... let your style play," built for road trips, workout playlists, and long summer days. The track has landed on the Rhythm Revolution playlist, adding to a growing catalog that includes "Little Town Between" and "The Last Disco." Rooted in Los Angeles but built for anywhere the sun hits, The State Smile is just getting started — more music is on the way.
