An underground madchester act from the local scene.
The Sums are a Liverpool-based indie rock band formed in 2005, blending psychedelic pop hooks with classic British alternative sensibilities. Fronted by Peter Deary, the group draws on the rich musical heritage of their hometown to craft driving, guitar-oriented anthems. Their sound captures the spirit of Madchester and traditional UK guitar music with a distinct underground edge.
