A nostalgic, underground garage rock act.
The Unclaimed was formed by Shelley Ganz and Sid Griffin in April, 1979, first among the second wave of garage bands. The band went through various permutations following their first EP, The Unclaimed (1980), through Primordial Ooze Flavored (1983) and Under the Bodhi Tree (1991) which was released under the artist pseudonym Attila and the Huns. In 2019, Groovie Records released the You Never Come EP which marked the emergence of the current version of the band featuring founder Shelley Ganz (guitar/lead vocals), Patrick Cleary (lead guitar/backing vocals), John Worley (bass, backing vocals) and Shaun Bryant (drums). A new LP tentatively titled Creature of the Maui Loon will be released later this year on Teen Sound Records.
