Next show: Budapest, Fri 18 Dec
An underground, high-energy hardcore punk act.
Hungarian metal band The Way We Are has started its activities as a four-piece on the spring of 2021 – they began rehearsing and composing songs together at that point. Their latest achievement has been the release of their debut album, The Fate of The Antagonist on the 22nd of December. Their music incorporates elements of genres such as hardcore punk, metalcore, thrash metal and groove metal, and this kind of eclectic style kinda enters them into trouble as they are not even gifted with the ability to define genres. The same kind of broad range applies to their lyrics as well, as they scream about emotions, politics, society, history, and even nature and mysticism – they aim to show new perspectives via their words to as many people as possible. Members: Balázs Bodrogközi – guitar, bass Attila Balog – guitar, bass Tamás Forstner – drums Bence Lovas – vocals
