There’s A Light is a five-piece Post-Rock/ Experimental band from Lahr, South-West Germany. Rooted in the Post-Rock scene, their music combines powerful and resolute guitar lines, audacious melodies with elements from the Ambient genre, adding emotional vocals. The band was formed in 2011 as a studio project and their first EP “Khartoum” was released in 2012 capturing the attention of the underground scene. In July 2018, after four years of work, the band self-released their debut album “A Long Lost Silence”. Described by critics as “a complex, lucid work”, creating “the kind of atmosphere that feels all-consuming” (James Fenney). After the album dropped, the band embarked on a China tour and joined Pest Record's Beijing roster. Following the success of "A Long Lost Silence" the band secured a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records to release their sophomore full-length album “For What May I Hope? For What Must We Hope?” in 2021. Their latest work "Anam Cara" was released in collaboration with Noir Reva, following another successful China Tour in 2024.
