An underground, stylish art rock act.
this HOLY rodeo! is America’s premiere hyper-theatrical freak-rock band. Brought to life by Mario Marques, Chris Harth, and Sami Habib, they have been consistently crafting songs that manage to explore glitchy-synth textures, blaring punk vocals, prog rock guitar fugues, latin percussion, jazz-infused basslines, while pairing ostentatious antifascist political messaging with brutal polemics on ego and the self. Their multi-faceted and over-the-top stage show has been praised by Beyond the Stage magazine as “...electric and eccentric…” and their music has been described as “...What the fuck?...the most unique tracks we’ve heard all year,” by Havoc Underground, and “Bursting with creative rock flair…” by Obscure Sound. Currently sporting their debut EP "this HOLY rodeo! presents: this HOLY rodeo!'s first EXTENDED PLAY, presented by this HOLY rodeo! (a this HOLY rodeo! presentation)!" to widespread fanfare. They have also tentatively announced they are in talks to own the Suez Canal and at least 70% of the world’s production of ethanol. They are gearing up to release two cover tracks: a live recording of "Sunglasses" by Black Country, New Road and a studio version of "a thousand years" by Christina Perri (the Twilight song). They will release another EP before the end of the year.
