Tierra Legacy

Tierra has enjoyed a remarkable, multi-generational career filled with chart-topping hits. In the early 1980s, the band was honored as the "Best R&B Vocal Group" by four major publications, including Billboard. Originating from East Los Angeles, Tierra crafted a distinctive sound that blended rock, pop, jazz, R&B, and salsa, resulting in an irresistible Latin/R&B rhythm. This unique fusion led to timeless classics like "Together," "Gonna Find Her," and "Memories." Tierra also made history as the first Latino-American band to have four songs on the national charts, with two simultaneously reaching the Top 100. Rudy and Steve's tragic passing due to Covid in 2020 and 2022, respectively, has left a void in the music industry, but the Salas family has made the decision to keep their music alive through “Tierra Legacy.
