Tim Hecker is a Juno Award-winning Canadian composer and sound artist. He is known internationally for experimental ambient recordings released under his own name, and soundtracks. He has released nine albums and collaborated with artists such as Arca, Ben Frost, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Daniel Lopatin. Initially recording under the Jetone moniker, he started his own name with the release of Haunt Me in 2001. Hecker released on Kranky, 4AD, and Alien8. He remixed the likes of Interpol, John Cale, and Ellen Allien. Hecker also works for film, making scores for the BBC series The North Water (Original Score), Austrian horror Luzifer and the upcoming movie by Brandon Cronenbergh.
