TissilaWen is a young band originary from Tassili N'Ajjer - Djanet in the Algerian Sahara. The band is formed in 2008 after the musical encounter between Bakrin Timlfati (guitar and vocals) and Cheikh Taberni (guitar and vocals), joined by Manou Othmani (bass guitar), Abdelwahab Tonnsu (guitar), Smman Mefatih, Khamed Kadou and Youssef Herouini (percussions : djembé, cajón, calabash) Mixing blues, rock and reggae rythms, with the wind of Sahara desert, their songs are about their "Toumast" (People in Tamasheq language), love of life and the vast expanse of their home, Ténéré.
