Tokyo Rose

Tokyo Rose is an emo-influenced pop-punk band born from New Jersey's thriving early-2000s alternative scene. Formed in 2001 by Ryan Dominguez and Chris Poulsen, the band quickly built a loyal following through energetic songwriting, relentless touring, and heartfelt performances. After releasing their debut EP Chasing Fireflies, Tokyo Rose signed with SideCho Records and released Reinventing a Lost Art (2003), recorded by Chris Badami. The album launched national touring with appearances at Skate and Surf Fest, SXSW, CMJ, and the Vans Warped Tour, with music featured on MTV's Road Rules. Their sophomore album, New American Saint (2005), produced by Matt Goldman, expanded their sound and took the band across the U.S., U.K., and Japan. The single "Spectacle" earned rotation on mtvU, while 2007's The Promise in Compromise, produced by Fred Archambault, debuted on Billboard's Heatseekers chart before the band's final Warped Tour. Tokyo Rose has shared stages with Motion City Soundtrack, Good Charlotte, The Starting Line, Yellowcard, Brand New, and The All-American Rejects, with songs featured on compilations from Hopeless Records, The Militia Group, and the Vans Warped Tour series. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of New American Saint, the band returns with a remastered deluxe edition featuring two previously unreleased songs. Now reunited, Tokyo Rose is writing, recording, and performing again, reconnecting with longtime fans and a new generation discovering the band.
