Tom Morgan

Tom Morgan grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas, spending his high-school summers working in the oil fields and soaking in the country music that shaped his roots. A lifelong piano player, he gigged with bands throughout high school before heading west to Stanford University, where he studied engineering by day and formed a band called Shaky Ground by night, playing clubs across the San Francisco Bay Area. Summers took him to Bakersfield, where he played in local country bands and absorbed the heart of the California country sound. After college, Tom moved to Denver and became the house pianist at the Bay Wolf, a well-known jazz club in Cherry Creek, sharpening his craft and expanding his musical vocabulary. Now based in Miami, Tom has been writing songs his entire life — but only recently stepped into the studio to bring them to life. His music blends Texas storytelling, California influence, and years of lived experience. The warm response to his releases has been a longtime dream finally taking shape, and he’s just getting started.
