Transparent Man

Transparent Man is a project currently based in Utrecht, Netherlands, exploring the space between electronic production, live instrumentation and cinematic composition. Combining elements of downtempo, trip-hop, jazz and organic electronica, the project creates a space where electronic textures meet guitar, bass, synths and live musicianship. The music is built around melody, atmosphere and rhythm, drawing inspiration from beat culture, organic instrumentation and the emotional qualities of film music. Since emerging in 2020, Transparent Man has released music through labels including Pueblo Vista, Vinyl Digital, S!X Music, Lounge Disorder and Logarithm receiving support from Spotify editorial playlists, radio and media outlets. The album Puppets marked an important milestone for the project, reaching #1 in Bandcamp’s New & Notable section and receiving a sold-out vinyl release. Alongside the studio work, Transparent Man has developed a live presence across Europe, performing internationally and sharing stages with artists including Catching Flies and Wax Tailor. The live show expands the electronic productions into a performance featuring live looping, bass, guitar, synths, drums, saxophone and visuals.
