Skupinu Tři sestry založili kamarádi v pražské čtvrti Braník v roce 1985. Původně punkové seskupení se postupně přetvořilo v celostátně respektovanou, kultovní skupinu, jejíž hlavní devizou byli (a jsou) zpěvák Lou Fanánek Hagen a jeho texty.
