An underground electrocumbia artist from the local scene.
Tribilín Sound is the music project of Alvaro Ernesto, a Peruvian DJ and producer specializing in tropical bass and electronic music. Active since the late 1990s as a DJ and music producer, his sound seamlessly blends traditional cumbia, chicha, and Afro-Peruvian rhythms with modern tropical bass and global club music, all driven by a deep Latin American identity. He has released tracks on influential labels such as Regional (Chile), Folcore (Spain), and Terror Negro (Peru), gaining widespread recognition for his bootlegs, remixes, and original productions across the Latin electronic and global bass scenes. His work has achieved international acclaim—notably composing the soundtrack for Kenzo’s Paris Fashion Week 2019 show—and he continues to champion the local scene by curating projects like New Latam Beats From Perú, a compilation showcasing 16 emerging Peruvian electronic artists.
