A stylish, nostalgic art rock act.
Tripping Jupiter has been heralded as "glam pop visionaries" (Mundane Magazine). Their current single "Brooklyn Party" - featuring Gail Ann Dorsey from David Bowie's band - on bass is out now. Chosen by WFUV-FM radio in New York as one of the "Best of 2025", Tripping Jupiter is a NY-based alt-indie-glam pop band featuring lead singer and songwriter Madstone Rowan. Produced by the Audible Yays production team of platinum-record producer Barb Morrison (Blondie/Franz Ferdinand) and Grammy-nominated Bart Schoudel (Lady Gaga/Selena Gomez), Tripping Jupiter’s retro-yet-modern alt pop sound is at once accessible and new. Their debut album Lipstick of the Brave offers 13 tracks features Gail Ann Dorsey on bass on 5 tracks, with award-winning videos that provide a visual accompaniment to Tripping Jupiter's unique sonic textures. Look for new Tripping Jupiter releases throughout the year leading up to the release of their second album later in 2026.
