True Summit draws on a collage of sonic identities to weave an abstract tapestry of dense and dramatic harmony. Expressive noise and ambient textures underpin driving, off-kilter grooves and frenetic rhythms, building a rippling mosaic of sound. Formed in Austin in mid-2020, the group quickly found their creative footing amid the scattered influences of its members, exploring elements of post-rock, noise rock, flamenco, and jazz in their early work. Following the release of their first album, the band continues to grow and evolve within the local DIY scenes of central Texas, garnering attention for their unorthodox songwriting and tender yet violent sound. The upcoming release is the culmination of over two years of evolution in both substance and perspective. The second full-length album represents a marked departure from its predecessor, abandoning or massively overhauling many of the foundational dynamics of the band’s early sound. True Summit is Ryan Masnicki (guitar), Nicolas Aguon (drums), Hank Hall (bass), and Miles Oshan (guitar).
