Formed in 1996 by veteran musicians, Tupay is a foundational pillar of Bolivian folk music known for vibrant interpretations of traditional Andean genres. Their signature sound fuses energetic percussion, acoustic guitar melodies, and striking vocal harmonies across beloved anthems like "Soy Caporal" and "La Saya". By honoring indigenous musical traditions while captivating modern audiences, the duo remains an enduring symbol of Andean culture.
