Unfinished

Rotterdam-based band Unfinished are carving out their own space within the progressive metal genre, where old-school metal attitude and introspective artistic sensibility fuse to form an electrifying new act in the Dutch metal landscape. In their collaborative songwriting process, Unfinished draw from a dynamic range of artists (TesseracT, VOLA, DOOL...) to create a musical alchemy unlike any other in the scene. Racing from addictive, high energy riffs to thoughtful, melodic bass solos, explosive drum sections to shatteringly vulnerable piano ballads, Unfinished have managed to craft a sound that is instantly recognisable and undeniably their own. Having originally formed in 2022 during their time studying at the Conservatory of Rotterdam (Codarts), Unfinished are no strangers to putting on a show. When the foursome, comprised of Nina van Beelen (Keys, Vocal), Jonathan Gaubert (Bass), Anne-Luke van As (Guitar), and Damian Muraszko (Drums), step on stage, they almost seem to share a telepathic bond - not in small part as a result of endless hours grinding away in sweaty basement rehearsal rooms. When joined live by a second guitarist and guest heavy vocalist, Unfinished lock in not only with each other, but the audience as well. Unfinished are gearing up to hit the ground running, ready to make their mark on the progressive metal genre. As a 3voor12 Leiden review of their performance at TAPFest 2025 stated most concisely, Unfinished "gaan het zeker maken".
