Welcome to the idiosyncratic world of Unsafe Space Garden, inhabited by eternal questions about our own existence, distilling into an unclassified amalgamation of rock, psychedelia, jazz, pop, and folk. Unsafe Space Garden is a genre-bending outfit from Portugal known for their chaotic, theatrical and deeply immersive live shows. With a sound rooted in neo-psychedelia, experimental rock and a touch of surreal humour, the band pushes musical boundaries with fearless creativity and a clear artistic vision. Described by European press as “a surrealist orchestra,” their concerts often blur the line between performance and ritual - unpredictable, cathartic and strangely uplifting. Their critically acclaimed albums Bro, You Got Something In Your Eye – A Guided Meditation (2021) and WHERE'S THE GROUND? (2023) draw comparisons to artists like Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart or The Flaming Lips, while forging a language uniquely their own. More than just experimentalists, Unsafe Space Garden are storytellers - unpredictable, emotional and sonically adventurous. A live act designed to be seen, heard, and remembered.
