Violet Silhouette

Their debut full-length VIVID(IS)DECAY — produced, mixed, and mastered entirely in-house by the band — is the document of where that entity arrived. Industrial in its bones, darkwave in atmosphere, with a pulse that pulls toward the dance floor even as the lyrics pull toward the drain. This is Neuromanticism: a sometimes fatal chase toward the highest ideal for truth and love, rendered in haunting archetypes and secret love languages that refuse to resolve cleanly, because the feelings never did. The album began taking shape in 2024 — Dan and Zaii sending ideas and song skeletons back and forth, feeling out a new direction. The lead single "This Is Something" was one of those early exchanges: a track that landed differently than anything before it, and in doing so clarified what the record could be. It was still unmistakably Violet Silhouette — the ethos intact, the mood recognizable — but the vision had sharpened. From there the album became unafraid: old ideas transformed, the sonic palette expanded, the dissolve-and-defiance tension held while the pull to the floor grew stronger. No outside hands, no trend cycle, no one in their ear. The dissolution in the title wasn't a concept they arrived at. It was the condition they were already standing in. They will always start at the end.
