Vladimir Torres is a renowned double bassist, composer and arranger, with a 25-year career in the music industry. Self-taught, he began playing music from an early age, with a late passion for bass and then double bass. Over the years, Vladimir Torres has worked with many artists, as a sideman, composer and arranger. He participated in the production of about fifty albums, in genres ranging from jazz to rock to Latin music. His talent and creativity have been widely recognized in the music industry, which has led him to collaborate with artists such as Ritary Gaguenetti, Fayçal Salhi, Marion Roch, Ricardo Torres Maher Beauroy, Hugo Diaz and many others, with whom he has traveled the world over the years. He also participated in the creation of three dance and double bass duo shows and a play. In addition to his collaborations with other artists, Vladimir Torres has also released three albums under his name. His latest album, "Brujos", is scheduled for June 2, 2023. This new album is a mix of jazz, influenced by pop music, with innovative arrangements and original compositions that reflect the diversity of its musical influences.
