NEW SINGLE // “WEAVING SPIDERS” Returning from their European tour, the band turned inward—revisiting years of unfinished demos, reshaping them into something sharper, heavier, and more deliberate. “Weaving Spiders” is the first chapter of a five-track EP, expanding on the cinematic, story-driven direction first hinted at in “Light Brigade”. Built on an aggressive, dance-punk backbone, the song explores isolation, surrender, and the violent urge to escape. Set against a suffocating cityscape, “Weaving Spiders” follows a young woman drawn toward the promise of freedom—searching for “leaves of love” far from concrete and control. Whether taken or willingly stepping away, her journey leads into darker territory: the grove, the ritual, the unknown. The track unfolds like a film—urgent, paranoid, and intimate—culminating in an eerie bilingual (English/French) outro that blurs identity and intent. Desire and danger coil together as the city loosens its grip, replaced by something older, watching, and patient. Inspired by the mythology surrounding the Bohemian Grove, “Weaving Spiders” isn’t about answers—it’s about the moment you decide to run, knowing the cost. The final line, “you’ll only kill a man,” echoes Che Guevara’s last words, reframing escape not as victory, but as transformation.
