Yuzuko Horigome is a classical violinist renowned for her expressive interpretations of core violin repertoire. She rose to global prominence in 1980 as the first Japanese laureate to win first prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition. Alongside major orchestral collaborations worldwide, she is a dedicated chamber musician and conservatory educator.

Yuzuko Horigome was born in Tokyo, Japan, and studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music before launching an international career based in Europe.
