Zanjeer زنجیر is a politically charged hardcore punk band based in Germany. The band sings in Urdu, Punjabi and Farsi - languages native to Iran and Pakistan. Their debut "Parcham Buland Ast" was released as a 7" by Symphony of Destruction (France) in 2022, followed by tape releases from Abnegat Records (Poland) and Darkroom Records (Indonesia). The band name derives from the Farsi word for "Chain." New material coming soon!
