ZORA IMANI is a singer-songwriter based in New York City. Originally from Singapore, Zora (real name) has sonic roots that stem heavily from a R&B/Jazz background, performing in gigs with her Jazz bassist father, Christy Smith, since she was a teenager. Refusing to place herself in one box, Zora is a multi-genre artist who delves into Folk, Electronic/Dance, Jazz & Pop in her music. She independently released her EP, 'Of Sound Mind', in 2023. She credits some of her influences to Sampha, Joni Mitchell, Mk.gee, James Blake, Adrienne Lenker and Kelela.
