Ben Goldscheider, Callum Smart & Richard Uttley

Internationally acclaimed horn player Ben Goldscheider joins forces with violinist Callum Smart and pianist Richard Uttley for a performance that showcases their deep partnership established in 2017. The trio is dedicated to both the core chamber repertoire and the expansion of the horn trio format through contemporary works. The evening’s programme features a diverse selection of music, including a reimagined Mozart Horn Quintet and the UK premiere of Matthew Peterson’s Winning Isn't Everything It's the Only Thing. The performance also includes works by Dobrinka Tabakova and John Adams, concluding with Brahms’ lyrical and intense Horn Trio in E-flat major, Op. 40.
