Russell Goldman is good as hell and knocked this out of the park! Was honored to be a part of his first feature. I told him after I watched that it reminded me of the first time I saw “Requiem For A Dream” because of how it continues to ratchet up the tension every few minutes. To which Russell replied “Oh Fuck off…” because he is humble and funny. But his humbleness is matched by his talent and I can’t wait to see what comes next for him. Can’t wait for people to see this one.
This made me miserable. There is so much talent involved and I adore Britt Lower, I’m so happy for everybody who got to make a movie. It seems to hinge on a central mystery that I couldn’t care less to solve and every device designed to unsettle me did its job a little too well.
