If "Bette Davis Eyes" is a four-minute pop song from the '80s, then "Joan Crawford Eyes" is a totally uncompromising Captain Beefheart song with a weird time signature that still manages to completely rock. And "Gloria Grahame Eyes" is a Prince song.

Two of the all-time faces in this movie. Joan Crawford had some of cinema’s great “absolutely horrified of every single thing that she sees or hears” eyes and Jack Palance had one of the great “this belongs on an old guy and looks fucked up on a young guy” facial structures. Put them together? Baby, that’s what I call cinema.
