A raw art pop night.
Berlin-based Danish singer, songwriter, producer, and classically trained pianist Agnes Obel is known for her elegant, unique voice and melancholic, harmonious chamber pop. Her sophisticated style draws inspiration from cinematic atmospheres and classical traditions, blending alternative music, neoclassical, pop, jazz, and electronic sounds to critical and commercial acclaim across Europe. She presents her fifth studio album, The Meaning of Flowers, her first release in six years. The album explores a wide range of influences, from the poetry of Enheduanna to the ideas of philosophers Hannah Arendt and Emanuele Coccia, alongside 1980s and 90s Danish pop, capturing the emotional impact of motherhood on her creative process.
