Award-winning British pianist and arranger Harry Baker leads a dynamic ensemble featuring some of the London jazz scene's top talents. Known for his cross-genre collaborations with artists like Jamie Cullum and Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Baker brings a versatile style inspired by the likes of Keith Jarrett and Bon Iver. This performance showcases his high-profile work as a composer and arranger, with a repertoire that often blends jazz, classical influences, and original contemporary works. The trio has previously been featured on Decca Classics and received acclaim for their sophisticated approach to modern jazz. Harry Baker is also an active educator, serving as a Lecturer in Music at Pembroke College Oxford. His recent large-scale project 'The Floating Boy' was highlighted on Jazz FM, cementing his reputation as a key figure in the future of British jazz.
