An underground, nostalgic vocal jazz night.
The Arntzen family is tied together by music, a legacy spanning several generations. While Traditional Jazz remains their core inspiration—drawing from Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, and Sidney Bechet—their performances also explore diverse sounds from folk ballads and bebop to synth-pop. This ensemble brings together multiple family members for an evening of musical exploration and multi-generational talent. Evan Arntzen performs on clarinet, saxophone, and vocals, joined by Leif Arntzen on trumpet, guitar, and vocals. Miles Francis Arntzen contributes on drums, guitar, and vocals, with Arnt Arntzen often joining on banjo and guitar.
The performance happens on August 21, 2026, at Barbès located at 376 9th St, Brooklyn, NY.
Evan Arntzen, Leif Arntzen, Miles Francis Arntzen, and Arnt Arntzen lead the ensemble.
Tickets are available on Mood.
