Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne & Martha Argerich
A nostalgic chamber music night.
An all-Beethoven programme featuring the Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne. Renaud Capuçon leads his longtime friend Martha Argerich in Piano Concerto No. 2, one of her signature works. Capuçon, who has been the orchestra's artistic director since 2021, often conducts from the violin, a practice he applies here to Beethoven’s masterpieces. The evening's repertoire is rounded out by the dramatic Coriolan Overture and the spirited Seventh Symphony.
