Rootz Lions delivers reggae as it was meant to be: warm, deep, and heartfelt. With their rich mix of roots from the Caribbean and Africa, blended with influences from dub, jazz, and world music. Especially for this performance, they will be sharing the stage with Djocelyn Mendes. Djocelyn is a Rotterdam-based singer with Cape Verdean roots who grew up in a musical family. After gaining years of experience as a backing vocalist in gospel and reggae, she is now telling her own story. Expect a powerful set full of original songs and recognizable covers.
