Après avoir reformé The Libertines, le chanteur et guitariste réactive son autre groupe culte initialement formé en 2003. Leur musique propose un brassage lettré de garage rock, pop, reggae et dub, fidèle à l’esprit punk des Clash. En première partie, Getdown Services propose un mélange de disco, rock, funk et krautrock avec une bonne humeur contagieuse. Le duo britannique se distingue par ses textes incisifs mêlant humour et critique sociale.
