Topvioliste Isabelle Faust voert een kamermuziekensemble aan van internationale allure in een bijzondere productie van Igor Stravinsky’s L’histoire du soldat. Deze uitvoering door het wereldberoemde Marionettentheater van Salzburg brengt Stravinsky's opwindende muziek tot leven met marionetten en decors ontworpen door de legendarische Duitse kunstenaar Georg Baselitz. De voorstelling combineert Italiaanse commedia dell'arte met de fantasiewereld van Slavische sprookjes in een aardse productie die oorspronkelijk voor de Salzburger Festspiele werd gecreëerd.
