For the third edition of its Paris–London series, Extended Ensemble takes over Punk Paradise on the eve of Fête de la Musique for a night dedicated to the intersections of scenes, genres and communities. The label welcomes two distinctive voices from London’s new creative underground: Rago and Goya Gumbani. Spanning alternative hip-hop, contemporary jazz, soul, broken beat and club-focused sounds, their worlds reflect a boundary-pushing approach where Afro-diasporic traditions meet contemporary sounds. Joining them is Samuel Paoli, founder of Extended Ensemble, with a selection spanning broken beat, jazz, house, UK garage and jungle.
