APAC presents the Flight 584 Big Band for a performance of swing, soul, and big band jazz. Directed by saxophonist John Mitchell, this powerhouse ensemble features a full brass section, five reeds, and a four-piece rhythm section. The group performs arrangements from legendary figures such as Quincy Jones, Sammy Nestico, and Bob Florence, bringing the Great American Swing tradition to life. Their repertoire includes dance-floor favorites and contemporary jazz orchestrations, offering an evening of high-octane swing and musical elegance.
