Night Two of the 30th Other Minds Festival presents an evening of contemporary compositions and improvisations at the Brava Theater. Pianist Sylvie Courvoisier merges European chamber traditions with American avant-garde jazz in a solo performance. Vocalist Mahsa Vahdat performs original musical settings of Persian poetry alongside setar player Atabak Elyasi. The program concludes with works by composer Juri Seo, including Just Intonation Etudes and Wildflowers, followed by the world premiere of Bad Decision performed with Friction Quartet.
