Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Zeds Dead is an electronic music duo formed in 2009. Dylan Mamid (DC) and Zach Rapp-Rovan (Hooks) originally collaborated as Mass Productions before evolving into Zeds Dead, a project that draws inspiration from drum & bass, dubstep, and electro house. They became prominent figures in the Toronto scene through their weekly Bassmentality nights and have since gained worldwide recognition with releases on Diplo's Mad Decent label. Their unique sound blends heavy bass lines with various disparate genres, consistently topping electronic charts.
