Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Zeds Dead are an electronic music duo formed in 2009. Dylan Mamid (DC) and Zach Rapp-Rovan (Hooks) began their collaboration under the name Mass Productions before evolving into Zeds Dead, exploring drum & bass, dubstep, and electro house. They established the Bassmentality weekly night in Toronto and gained international respect for their unique sound that blends disparate genres. The duo has released several successful EPs on Diplo's Mad Decent label and is known for their energetic live performances characterized by heavy bass lines.
