More Cowbell brings live funk, soul, and classic rock improvisation using Soundpainting to Pershing Hall. Tickets on Mood.
More Cowbell brings an evening of live music, spontaneous improvisation, and dancing to Pershing Hall. Drawing inspiration from the classic Saturday Night Live sketch, an ensemble of local Austin musicians reimagines funk, soul, and classic rock songs using Soundpainting, a live sign-language composition method that turns familiar melodies into impromptu grooves. Proceeds benefit Andrea Ariel Dance Theatre's upcoming season, community workshops, and youth arts education programs.
