An underground, homegrown contemporary classical night.
As part of the 25th New Music Festival 'ARĒNA', the two-part concert program 'TUMSAS GAISMA' brings together youth and experience in contemporary sound art. The evening showcases fresh compositions by composition students from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, followed by the latest project from the Woodpecker Project ensemble. In their piece '...ailes', the quartet blends acoustic instruments with electronics in complete darkness, creating an immersive sensory journey through sound.
