Sound 8 Orchestra & Annie Wonder
An underground, nostalgic electronic night.
Eingang REWE, Stahltür rechts, Klingel - REWE supermarket entrance, steel door at the right, doorbell, Skalitzer Str. 135a, 10999 Berlin
Join us for a cozy summer evening featuring a double concert with two unique musical projects. The Sound 8 Orchestra is an audiovisual project from Berlin led by multi-instrumentalist Matthias Wyder. The performance blends easy listening, low-budget lounge, retrofuturistic B-movie soundtracks, and psychedelic electronic sounds. The live set utilizes analog synthesizers, guitar, ukulele, Stylophone, home organ, and Super 8 film projections to create a distinctive sonic world. Annie Wonder (Anna Wallace) is a Los Angeles-based mezzo-soprano and experimental composer. In her solo project, she combines operatic vocals with space echo, Moog synthesizers, samples, and vocoders to deliver psychedelic and ritualistic performances.
