Vikki Clayton is a celebrated folk-rock singer who rose to prominence in the early 80s with the cult band Ragged Heroes. After the group performed at the Cropredy Festival and eventually disbanded, Vikki's career took a significant turn when Jerry Donahue and Fairport Convention took notice of her voice, often compared to the legendary Sandy Denny. This recognition led to a productive period fronting Fotheringhay and forming her own band with esteemed musicians like Clive Bunker and Chris Conway. With six solo albums to her name, she returns to perform material from her latest release, Messenger.
